Hi there! We’re a family of four who moved to Hamilton just over a year ago, having relocated from Johannesburg, South Africa. It’s been an exciting journey settling into our new home, and we’re loving the adventure so far. We have two wonderful boys: Sevandré (9) and Livan (4), who are the biggest blessings in our lives. They are both very family-oriented, full of love, and always ready with extra hugs and cuddles. Sevandré is our creative soul—he loves drawing, riding his bike, playing in his room, and trips to the library. He’s an amazing big brother, always looking out for Livan and lending a helping hand whenever he can. Livan, our energetic little one, is currently in speech therapy and thriving. He adores story time, has the best dance moves, and is happiest outdoors—especially jumping in muddy puddles. He’s our barefoot explorer and keeps us on our toes! I , Lerice (mom) work four days a week in an administrative role and have recently stepped into a new Health and Safety rep position. My husband Stephan is an engineer and often travels for work, especially during the busy seasons. It would be such a gift to have an extra pair of hands now and then—even just for an hour to sneak in a gym session or run a few errands. ( we really miss having that family support back home—a helping hand would go a long way right now) As a family, we love exploring new places over the weekends, but we’re also true homebodies. One of our favourite things to do is build a big family bed in the living room, stay in our PJs all day, and watch movies with way too many snacks. There are no special requirements—just please keep us informed if anything comes up while you’re taking care of the boys. We also ask that they have your full attention during that time.
Medical Conditions
Livan occasionally uses an inhaler for asthma, typically when the seasons change, but it’s not a regular or permanent treatment—only as needed.
Special needs of children
As mentioned, Livan is non-verbal and is currently undergoing speech therapy while also working with a childhood development teacher. He has made incredible progress. That said, nothing holds this little guy back. He has found his own ways to communicate—often taking your hand or pointing to show you what he needs. We continue to pray and have faith that his words will come in time. Sevandré is a great help, and we’re always just a phone call away if needed. Livan has no behavioral issues. He’s a bright, happy little boy, full of joy and curiosity.

It is always great looking after the boys, I feel welcome as soon as I arrive. The boys love doing many diffrent activities and are well behaved. I look forward to look after them again.

I feel very comfortable looking after the boys as Lerice and Stephan make me feel at home. Sevandré and Livan are great kids to look after. sevandrè taught me how to play fortnite on his ps4, which was definitely entertaining 🤣 livan was pretty relaxed as he was tired. Would definitely babysit the boys again.

Babysitting Review for Lerice and Stephan I had the absolute pleasure of babysitting for Lerice and Stephan last week, and honestly they are the best! From the moment I walked into their home, I felt comfortable and appreciated. They are such kind-hearted and respectful people, and it was so easy to connect with them. Their two boys, Savandre and Livan, completely stole my heart. Savandre is such a caring and grateful young man, and Livan is so loving and gentle. Both of them are incredibly well-behaved, well-mannered, and super smart. I actually learned a thing or two from them! They kept me so entertained the whole time. I didn’t even realize how fast time flew by. It was such a joyful experience, and I would absolutely love to babysit for this beautiful family again.
