I’m 18 and in my first year of University, studying a Bachelor of Teaching (Primary). I have my full New Zealand driver’s licence and experience caring for children from toddlers to school age. I love creating fun, engaging activities like arts & crafts, outdoor games, and baking, while always keeping safety as my top priority. I’m happy to help with homework, routines, and bedtime, and can assist with light chores, meal prep, and school pick-ups. I am also a huge animal lover (especially dogs!)

Experience

I am currently on placement every Thursday for my Teaching Degree. I have worked at an after-school care program, and I have looked after children between the ages of 10 months and 10 years old.

Why I love working with kids

I love working with kids because they make every day fun and full of surprises! I enjoy joining in on their games, sparking their creativity, and helping them learn new things in a way that feels exciting for them. I believe in creating a safe, caring, and positive space where kids feel happy, listened to, and encouraged to be themselves. Whether it’s playing, reading, or tackling homework together, I love being part of their growth and joy.
